Request a pair of people we've played together and a Christmas song, and I'll do you a ~200 word drabble.

I need a Broderick Bode to be BFFs with my Caleb Croaker and I need him to be played by Zachary Quinto so I can use Spock/Kirk icons.

But even more, I need this headache to go away.

I'm doing something I know that I've always told myself is a BAD IDEA, but I've never actually done it before: attempt to play the same 'character' in two different games. I can multi-task fairly well but I've never been good at split-personality-ing (for example, writing both sides of a game thread). I feel psychologically I'm going to have to do something to differentiate them for fear one one bleeding over into the other so much that I'm writing this mis-shapen amalagamation of a character in two different games.

Trying to alleviate this by writing such a different backstory for Ernie that I can't POSSIBLY confuse him with this Ernie.

And yes, I know, I can just pick a different 2nd tier character to play my character idea through but... no. Not really. I may have fallen into a rut but you know what? I like this little divit.

Today is the final day of WaH. I let go of Ernie and Liam for while and find myself spinning until I complete their applications for New Salem.

I thought that I would feel some measure of sadness or maybe even anxiety at this day, the completion of 9 months of work. I don't though. I feel... accomplishment. I'm feeling pretty good. We MADE it! It's done! And in several hours we'll have an epilogue and in 2 weeks, for some of us, we'll have even more of an epilogue.

It's been such a remarkable ride - I don't think I ever get tired of saying this (although I'm sure everyone is tired of me saying it). So remarkable.

Ah - totally blissed out.

Last night I had to work until 1AM last night. 15 minutes of work every hour collecting data. In the 45 minutes gaps, what was I doing? Reading the most amazing 12 13 part Battle of Hogwarts log. I was two parts shy when I got home and I sat down at my computer for another 45 minutes - after working 14 hours yesterday. That was just how crazy good it was.

There are logs that I have been in that may have been as powerful as what I read last night -- Dean murdering Dolohov in Firebird Ascending; the pact to create the Wizengamot between Lucius Malfoy, Percy Weasley and Charlie Weasley in What Price?; others, but with only 4 hours of sleep, I can't really make my brain function. But I have never been part of something of this scope, never been apart of something so all encompassing, never been apart of a group that had so many wonderful and interesting and talented writers. We built something special.

I'm going to mirror Ernie here and say that it was an honor and a privilege to write with all of you. We are epic.

Okay. So I want to make a Liam-esque character for NS, but since Liam O'Hare is not a canon name, I wanted to make a R5 character that had some family. So! If you are looking for a younger sibling for your character that looks like Matt Smith... let me know :)

Question for you New Salem folks -- any of you considering picking up Luna? I have a deep and all consuming desire for Dean to have an open relationship with her spanning the last decade for mad-cap Loony Artist fun. Which I will make happen. Unless someone already has an idea for her.
